Stakeholder engagement

There’s no secret that effective stakeholder engagement is essential for the success of any project. We at User Centric engage with the key stakeholders, understand their needs and analyse these together with the needs of the users, this involvement can dramatically improve the success of a project.

User engagement

User Engagement can be measured by a variety or combination of activities such as downloads, clicks, shares, and more. Highly engaged users are generally more profitable, provided that their activities are tied to valuable outcomes such as purchases, signups, subscriptions, or clicks.

Qualitative & Quantitative analysis

We analyse all data metrics to help companies understand how users are using their current offerings and how to best maximise them. Using techniques such as ‘User Funnels, Attribution model, website/app analytics, customer behaviors’ to attain data that helps us help our clients.

User Stories & Personas

We create user stories to highlight ‘pain points’ from the perspective of the user, this helps the business understand the problem that needs solving. Creating a persona is to give a name and provide a story. … A persona is an archetypical character as opposed to a stereotypical character.

User journey/flows/maps

We use journey maps to try to capture the experience of a user during the interaction with the products. They are a visual trip of the user across the solution. Journey Maps are some kind of a journal, where user notes their feelings, pain points and the moments of delight.

UX Storyboards

Creating a storyboard is a great instrument for ideation, for all teams involved from business to project managers and developers. A storyboard shapes the user journey and the character (persona). They help teams to string together personas, user stories, and various research findings to develop requirements for the product.

Conceptualisation

To design well we undertake conceptualisation methods to ensure exceptional mobile experience which delights users, opens up a large set of opportunities to reach customers and helps to improve the brand image. A good user experience differentiates successful web/mobile applications from unsuccessful applications.

Sketching, Wireframing & Prototypes

By sketching & wireframing, we have found that engaging with users helps us to validate our thinking and provides value to the business, furthermore, we have found using ‘clickable prototypes’ encourages greater feedback and engages users.

Usability testing

This can be seen as an irreplaceable usability practice since it gives direct input on how real users use the system, this enables the team to make small changes to the design as well as the user flows. This is fundamental to the success of your business and reduces the costs during the development phase.
